I chose this hotel specifically because it’s incredibly close to the O2 Arena, just a short walking distance away, which was ideal for my James Arthur show that evening. No hassle with transport; I strolled right over and back without a worry. The rooms are very spacious, with plenty of room to relax after the concert. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the fresh linens to the modern bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight, delicious and varied, with a great choice of foods including fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and more to suit every taste. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier; they were welcoming and helpful from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re heading to the O2. I’ll definitely return for the next show!

We stayed at the InterContinental O2 London for one night on 12/31, and overall, it was a very solid experience—especially considering it was a major holiday evening. The evening did start a bit rough. As an Ambassador member, I do expect at least basic acknowledgment when using a clearly designated Ambassador line. While I don’t expect special treatment, it was frustrating to see guests walking up from the side being assisted while a queue formed in the Ambassador line. If a dedicated line exists, it really needs to be managed intentionally—especially during peak periods like New Year’s Eve. That said, the rest of our stay more than made up for that initial hiccup. We received our upgrade to a high floor with a fantastic view of the O2 Arena and the Thames, which was absolutely lovely. While the room did show some signs of normal wear and tear, it was well maintained, fully functional, and comfortable—exactly what we needed. We had dinner at the Brasserie and truly enjoyed the experience. During service, we witnessed another table treating the staff quite poorly, and I was genuinely impressed by how professionally and gracefully the team handled the situation. One of the managers, in particular, was calm, confident, and clearly very skilled—an excellent example of leadership under pressure. Although this was just a one-night stay for our first night in London, we really enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. Even with the rocky start, the overall experience completely erased any lingering frustration. Thank you to the team for delivering thoughtful, professional service on what I know was a very busy holiday night.

We had an excellent stay over New Year's at the Intercontinental London - the O2. We were lucky to have received an early check-in, the room was spacious, new, well appointed. The spa (relatively uncommon to hotels in London) was great and the staff extremely courteous, professional and helpful. The most exciting part was the surprise fireworks hosted by the hotel at the waterfront, right in front of our eyes which in my opinion matched the city of London fireworks in time and show (also because the latter was quite far). Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this hotel very highly

Have stayed here twice and have been blown away both times. Rooms are beautiful, great attention to detail with the treats in the room, everything is clean and the facilities available are fantastic. The Spa in particular was a wonderful experience, the staff are so warming and knowledgeable, and the massage was 10/10. The breakfast has a fantastic selection, proper quality ingredients and you can order cooked dishes off a menu if you wish. Will definitely be back. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the staff are so friendly and will look after you. Was also very useful when I had a concert at the O2 as you could just go down this long corridor that connects to the O2, so no needs to go outside!

Just spent the night to see a show at the O2 and it was perfect! Great location next to O2 arena, large river view room overlooking the Thames. Excellent service from very polite, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and sky bar on 18th floor gave a superb latenight view. Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend

Stayed here during New Tears Eve at a good price. My partner booked this online and requested a good view. He called the hotel to also check what the view was like and the lady on the was not sure...? Which is disappointing that she didn't know what the views were like at the hotel she works for. Once we arrived on the day, I loved the decor. Hotel was decorated with lovely Christmas ornaments and it was a beautiful entry. However, the lady that services us didn't really give us a warm welcome or the excellent service you would expect from a 5 star hotel. She just checked us in, and when asked if we did get a room with a nice view, she said we cannot garantuee this and even asked if there were any cancellations on other floors or to upgrade to a nicer view, she just said no. Completely understand the view is not garantueed however there is a way of responding politely. She didn't give us an overview of what was included and the facilities in the hotel. Just simply turn right and the lifts are there. We were on the 4th floor, and when entering the room, Lo and behold, huge window with amazing views of the parking lot. So yes, we were disappointed but I tried to not be bothered by it. But by the second day, my partner did ask for the manager to upgrade and ask if there were other options. Completely different service, moved is too the 8th floor with an amazing view of the river and London. The rooms were nice, bed was very comfy and there a Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. My feedback would be to include instructions on how to connect to this as it wasn't as straight forward as I thought. You have to connect to the tv then it will connect to the speaker. Other feedback, the lighting is mainly in the corners of the room, so when doing my makeup, the lamp on the side wasn't bright enough so I did my make up in the bathroom where the mirror had a back light. I just personally like to sit when song my make up as I'm lazy. There's a mini fridge, does state its weight is monitored so make sure you don't leave stuff out of the fridge otherwise you will be charged. The fridge locks when you 'check' out of the room. Overall happy with the room. Breakfast was great, £25pp and finished at 11.30am on NY, I believe 10.30am normally. Good spread and choice, with quality food. Service was quick despite the queue being out of the door, but this is most likely due to being NY. Perfect location to the o2, good rooms, just the FOH service lacked but was made up by the manager being friendly and upgrading us as well as giving us a free drink voucher. Would recommend, but check prices on different sites for better rates during peak season.

Just had our first stay at this hotel. Pretty much excellent in every way. Staff were very good and very helpful. The food was great. Breakfast was superb. The rooms spacious, quiet and comfortable. Location was ideal for us as we were seeing a show in the O2 arena. Quick and easy to get into central London on an Uber boat. Also we had a great view from our room which was an added bonus. We literally can't fault this well run hotel. Thanks, we'll definitely be staying again. In fact we need to book for a show next year, so we will be in touch

An outstanding stay from start to finish. The hotel offers stunning views, especially in the evening, which really elevate the whole experience. Rooms are spacious, beautifully maintained and feel properly premium. Breakfast was excellent — wide selection, high quality products and everything beautifully presented. Easily one of the highlights of the stay. What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. The staff were exceptional throughout: attentive, professional and genuinely welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. A perfect choice for a special stay near the O2 — highly recommended and absolutely worth it.
